Lauren Douglas is a visual artist based out of Oakland, Ca. She received her BA from San Francisco State University and her MFA from Mills College. She has shown her work in a variety of venues including Adobe Back Room Gallery, SF Camerworks, Hatch Gallery, Royal Nonesuch Gallery and Backstock Gallery. 



Currently her work centers around her interest in the way we perceive reality and how we operate within the space time continuum. Using imagery from her experiences and working with poetics as a reference point she composes photographic installations that address her ideas.
